Base Amenities - LA Area Bases
Los Angeles AFB is the smallest Air Force Base in California both by land acreage and active duty population. LA AFB is 113 acres, 52 of which are currently developed and serves 6,300 military and civilian personnel. LA AFB boasts being the headquarters of the Space and Missile Center (SMC), a command of the United States Space Force and home to the 61st Air Base Group.
Joint Forces Training Base Los Alamitos is one of California’s historical bases. It is 1,319 acres and supports 850 full-time employees and over 6,000 reserve and national guard personnel.
Naval Weapons Stations Seal Beach is 5,256 acres and includes over 200 buildings.
